Background Pakistan is the 5th largest milk producing country in the world. The country inhabits 26.3 million buffaloes and 24.2 million cows. As a result of a structural increase of domestic demand for processed milk and dairy based products, demand for high quality supplies for dairy farms is growing. To serve this market, CRV International, a multinational supplier and producer of high quality proven bovine semen and its partners, established ProFarm™ Pakistan (private) limited.

Our Mission We at ProFarm Pakistan, believe that the livestock & dairy sector of Pakistan can significantly contribute to the country’s economy and alleviate poverty in rural areas. We therefore see it as our mission to make livestock & dairy farming more profitable by providing quality products & reliable services and making relevant information & training available to farmers in Pakistan.

Business Model
	ProFarm™ Pakistan has established a sales and service network in the Punjab province to provide farmers with reliable AI service, high quality semen, Animal Feed, Veterinary Medicine and other essential supplies for commercial dairy farming. We plan to expand our network to more centers and more well-trained Artificial Insemination Technicians, operating throughout Pakistan.
In addition to our network of field agents, we deliver products and services directly from our warehouse to the majority of corporate dairy farms in Punjab.

Product & Services Breeding Artificial Insemination (AI) is an important tool for farmers to get a healthy, durable and productive herd. To offer the right choice for each animal and breeding goal, our portfolio contains a variety of breeds and bulls. ProFarm™ therefore offers semen of exotic breeds (Holstein-Friesian, Jersey and crosses), indigenous breeds (Cholistani and Sahiwal) and buffalo. Our imported product is the result of extensive breeding programs that are producing high quality semen with excellent breeding values and high reliability.
Our local product is subject to frequent quality audits to ensure it meets our standards. Our service is delivered by trained AI technicians, who are constantly evaluated and stimulated to keep delivering a quality service. The combination of our product and service ensure that ProFarm™ provides quality and reliability.

	Feeding Because our team visits many livestock farmers and cattle breeders daily we are aware of the needs and problems of our customers. We realize breeding is only one element of successful dairy farming and without the right nutrition animals will not live up to their genetic potential.
Together with our European partners and suppliers we are constantly exploring ways to fulfil the needs of the Pakistani farmers, where every time, quality at a fair price, is the objective. This year we will introduce a range of feeding products that will bring dairy farming in Pakistan to the next level.
