  ORDER PROCESS  
  SEMEN - In case you only need semen, because you have your own technician or DVM, or when you want to buy large quantities at once, you can directly contact our regional offices or HQ.  
     
  AI SERVICE - In case you need both the semen as well as the service of insemination, these are the steps:  
 
  1. The farmer, contacts our Area manager. Together they decide the best time of insemination and they discuss what bull would be the best choice for the animal that is to be inseminated. The choice is ultimately up to the farmer, but our area manager is there to advice. Also see our section on breeding.
  
 
  1. The area manager calls the AI Technicians that operates closest to the farmer, and requests him to go there.
  
 
  1. The AI Technician visits the farmer, they discuss the health and heat status of the animal.
  
 
  1. If the owner decides it is the right time for insemination, the insemination is performed.
  
 
  1. After the insemination the farmer pays the AI technician, and the AI technician gives the farmer an service report and the empty straw. The printing on the straw, together with the service report ensure that farmer gets what he pays for and for the right price. If there our doubts or questions the farmer can always contact or visit the area manager.

Note: Only ProFarm™ AI Technicians are allowed to sell ProFarm™ semen. Our AI Technicians can be recognized by a ProFarm™ uniform and cap, a ProFarm™ AI Kit, and the ProFarm™ Service report. The fact that an AIT carries our leaflets does not guarantee the AIT is working for ProFarm™. In doubt always contact one of our offices!
